Transportation Procedure
Sample Preparation
Samples submitted to Tutee LLC should be in accordance with According to ASTM E300 -03(2017) as follows,
- General Requirements: all sampling apparatus and closures shall be clean, dry, and free of contaminants at the time of submission. The sampling container, if applicable, and closure shall be clean, dry, and free of contaminants as well.
- Bottles and Jars: Bottles and jars may be made of clear or brown glass or polyethylene with necks shaped to receive a glass stopper or a screw cap made of metal or plastic material. The use of unprotected corks as closures is not allowed for samples submitted to Tutee LLC. Closures should be examined to prevent the release of any fumes at standard and temperatures.
- Screw-Neck and Press-Cover Cans: Cans of tin plate with seams soldered on the outside may be used. The neck should be shaped to receive a screw cap or pressed cover. Take care to ensure that cans are clean, even when new.
- All samples should be tagged properly and match the associated documents.
